Trust your bike to a company with extensive
motorcycle shipping experience.
How will my motorcycle be shipped?
Motorcycles are palletized and strapped
down with nylon straps. There are four
straps to secure the motorcycle, two in
front and two in the back. These pallets
are called skids. These skids are design
especially for motorcycle for safe
shipping. The motorcycle is covered and
transport in an enclosed auto
transporter. Enclosed auto transporters
have a lift gate for safe loading into
the truck.
|
What if my motorcycle does not fit on
the skid?
Most
motorcycles do fit on the skid. However,
if your motorcycle is longer than 8 feet
or wider than 4 feet, you will have to
provide your own skid, and accommodate
the truck with a loading dock to load
and unload.
|
What is the transit time for motorcycle
shipping?
This depends on the
state and location of the motorcycle to
be picked up. Most transit time is one

hours before the pick-up and delivery,
but it in some cases he could pick up

hours. The drivers will try to
accommodate the time frame that they ask
him, but sometimes they may run late due
to traffic, weather, or other
circumstances.
|
Can I have my motorcycle picked up and
delivered to a residence?
Yes,
as long as the truck driver can get in
and out safely to the residence, however
it is cheaper to have the motorcycle
picked up and delivered to a commercial

business hours, however special
arrangements can be made. Commercial
pick-ups and deliveries of the
motorcycle can be convenient because
someone will be there all day to hand
over and receive the motorcycle.
|
Can my motorcycle change trucks and
drivers?
Yes,
the motorcycle can or will change trucks
and drivers. The motorcycle will stay on
the same skid.

No.
The truck driver does not accept
responsibly for exchange of funds for
the motorcycle. This is between you and
the seller.

motorcycle upon pick-up and delivery?
The
driver will walk around the motorcycle
upon loading and delivery. If any damage
is present, this must be written on the
condition report, and signed by the
driver and receiving agent. If the
damage is not noted on the condition
report at the time of delivery, any
claim will be denied.

motorcycle?

What do I do if the truck can’t get into
my location for pick up of my vehicle?
The truck driver will get as close to
your door as he can legally and safely.
Many cities have restrictions on large
trucks that prohibit them from driving
into some residential areas. Transport
truck are an average of 75 ft. long,
weighs about 78,000 lbs., and are built
low to the ground and needs lots of
space to maneuver and turn around. If
your home is restricted by narrow
streets, low-hanging trees, speed bumps
or tight turns, the driver may ask you
to meet the truck at a different
destination or we will arrange a
convenient location, like a shopping
center or major street crossing, to pick
up or deliver your vehicle.
